Memories
"Memories are the key not to the past, but to the future." This quote from Corrie Ten Boom spoke directly to my intent in this piece. Each of the objects in this still life holds special memories for me and each has opened a door into my life as I move into the next chapter. Even the techniques hold memories that I continue to explore--cyanotype, toning, painting, quote, encaustic wax. I treasure my memories, yet Corrie Ten Boom's message resonates that these memories also hold the key to my future!
